Your Impact As a Project Developer at Siemens, you'll play a critical role across the full project lifecycle - from early ideation and customer engagement to final commissioning. In This Role, You Will: * Lead the definition, documentation, and management of technical and functional requirements for large-scale renewable energy projects. * Engage directly with clients during the pre-sales phase, analyzing customer needs and shaping winning technical solutions and proposals. * Translate requirements into actionable system designs and specifications for BESS, PV, Microgrids, and hybrid energy systems. * Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses - factoring in regulatory policies, tariffs, and Investment Tax Credits (ITC) to ensure the highest project value. * Prepare estimates and coordinate with outside vendors, contractors, and consultants to align design, cost, and implementation strategies. * Champion requirement traceability throughout project execution, ensuring technical excellence and successful delivery. * Support testing, commissioning, and performance verification phases, guaranteeing systems meet and exceed client expectations. * Be a key technical advisor to the sales and proposal teams, demonstrating Siemens' leadership in the renewable energy sector. * Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continually sharpen our competitive edge. * Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams - engineering, procurement, construction - to drive seamless, successful outcomes. * Uphold the highest standards for safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility across all project stages. What You Bring * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. * Strong experience with renewable energy project development (BESS, PV, Microgrids). * Deep understanding of power systems, energy storage technologies, and grid integration. * Familiarity with renewable energy financial drivers such as tariffs and ITC. * Skilled with simulation and design tools (HelioScope, PVSyst, ETAP, MATLAB). * Excellent communication skills - able to bridge technical details and business strategy across diverse audiences. * Passion for sustainability, innovation, and real-world impact. * PMP, PE licensure, or Siemens tools/software experience are strong pluses.
