Your role
Join our dynamic team as a Project Data Administrator and be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration and growth.
As the Project Data Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring project information is accurately entered and maintained in the accounting system. You will work closely with the Project Administration team to assess the projects and identify risks. You are client- focused and enjoy collaborating with various functions across the organization. You bring resilience, “how can I help” mindset, and an initiative-taking approach to all your projects.
Responsibilities
Proposals/New contracts/change orders
- Initiate and maintain the setup of projects and amendments to existing projects in the accounting system based on the respective contracts.
- Process all change orders and fee increases based on supporting documentation.
Contracts & Audits
- Assist in the administration of contracts and escalate any discrepancies noted between the contracts and the project set ups
- Prepare reports as needed, including summarizing task authorizations against Master Services Agreements or contracts.
Other
- Assist with other functions as deemed appropriate to the position.
- Build strong relationships with our internal business partners including Project Managers (PM) and other project staff, as well as assist and collaborate with other Finance and Accounting team members.
Qualifications
- Bilingualism in French and English
- Post- secondary diploma or degree in business administration (or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to multi-task
- General accounting experience with proven accuracy
- Exceptional attention to detail; highly organized and dependable, with strong ability to prioritize and follow-up.
- Superior in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point),
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Developed analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
Ability to exercise good judgment, tact and diplomacy. Hours of work are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. This role may be subject to additional hours based on office demands.
