Role Description

As a full-time Project Coordinator - Pre-Construction, you will be responsible for coordinating various pre-construction activities including planning, scheduling, and managing resources. This role entails collaborating with multiple teams to ensure all project requirements and deadlines are met effectively. This on-site role is located in Markham, ON, Canada.


What You Will Do

  • Create logistics drawings and detailed plans to support construction operations
  • Perform manual or model-based takeoffs to determine material quantities accurately
  • Develop crane plans and conduct crane checks to optimize efficiency and safety
  • Assist the estimation team during bidding by reviewing documents and verifying logistics
  • Conduct model checks using Tekla and work with New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) drawings
  • Actively participate in production, going beyond coordination to contribute hands-on
  • Perform additional duties as required based on project needs


What We Are Looking For

  • Experience with Tekla and AutoCAD 
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or relevant field experience
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, details, and specifications 
  • Previous experience in the structural steel construction industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and managing resources efficiently
  • Experience in high-rise construction projects
