Role Overview
Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Project Coordinator for one of our most prestigious accounts in Midland, TX, The Construction Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager and works with the operations management team providing technical and administrative support. From headquarters to offshore rigs, our integrated facilities management, dining and 24/7 hospitality offerings are designed to meet your offshore and onshore service needs.
50% travel is required for this role
What You'll Do
* Maintain project documentation, track action items, and ensure consistent follow-up with vendors and stakeholders.
* Supervise and direct the work of contractors with task assignments, monitor performance, and provides safety training and guidance
* Manage communication of project plans, risks, issues, and progress through meetings, reports, and correspondence
* Assist Project Manager with administrative tasks, including scheduling, project logs, and bid/proposal processes
* Coordinate and document project meetings, including recording minutes and tracking action items
* Support project closeout activities and ensure proper control of technical documentation
* Executes day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upkeep of a facility

What You Bring
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project) and Adobe Acrobat
* Working knowledge of Construction Management Systems and Construction Document Management Systems
* Ability to lift 40 pounds safely several times per day
* Collaborative team environment skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents

Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years
