Summary

Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provide project management, facilitation and coordination for a variety of activities in support of IT project, program and portfolio management. Serves as a liaison to other departments. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: * Under supervision of the IT Project Manager, this position will assist with monitoring assigned projects, with coordination of resources and tracking of progress. * Ensure projects are completed timely and within departmental budgets. * Share with key stakeholders the project status and scope. * Assist in multiple projects and tasks in various stages. * Builds and maintains working relationships with sponsoring organizations, stakeholders, team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. * Is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. * Assist with coordination and resolution of IT issues with WUCA physicians, staff and practice managers. * Familiarity with Healthcare IT standards to ensure security and confidentiality of patient data. * Project coordination to include consulting from initial request to job completion. * Understand and document business requirements and existing processes as they relate to technology solutions. * Use technical project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques to ensure projects adhere to high quality standards. * Assist in developing project plans and schedules. * Generate reports regarding project status and facilitates communication efforts. * Compile and maintain project documentation and issues log. * Coordinate implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments. * Assist in monitoring project schedules and taking corrective action and resolves issues to stay on schedule. * Schedule and coordinate requests for IT services across the university from a variety of systems to include faculty/classrooms, administrative, student and outside group requests. * Process and verify billing l support/services across the university via a variety of systems. * Perform other duties as assigned. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
