The Project Controls Manager position comes with a day rate from £550.00 per day to £600.00 per day outside of IR35.\n\nRole responsibilities and key skills for the role:\n\nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules and cost forecasts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).\nImplement and manage robust project controls systems, tools, and governance frameworks.\nLead on earned value analysis (EVA), schedule performance reviews, and cost variance reporting.\nMaintain accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and change control processes.\nLiaise with internal stakeholders, delivery partners, and contractors to ensure alignment on programme status and updates.\nIdentify and manage project risks, providing mitigation strategies and updates to senior leadership.\nProvide timely reporting and insights to support informed decision-making.\nEnsure compliance with corporate and project-specific controls procedures.\nStrong track record in project controls roles within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects (WtE, EFW, power generation, or heavy civils preferred).\nProficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost management tools (e.g. SAP, Excel, or similar.\nDegree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.\nAPM, PMI, or equivalent project controls certification is advantageous.\n\nLocation, day rate and timeframe of the Business Development Manager position: \n\nLondon\n£550.00 to £600.00 per day\nImmediate start date\n\nINDPOW\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
