FREELANCE - Project Controller – s'Hertogenbosch Area

I am looking for a Head Project Controller to join my client in Dordrecht on a rolling 12-month contract working on cost control for a major Civil Construction EPC project. You would be responsible for supporting, guiding and advising the Project Execution and Engineering Teams. Initially on-site 5 days a week, but then a hybrid aspect.

Cost Controller Specification:

• START: Next 1-2 months (Interviews commencing already).
• LOCATION: Dordrecht
• DURATION: Initial 12-month Contract (likely to extend).
• RATE: €95p/hr

Key responsibilities:

• You are involved in the project from the sale and drawing up the final budget;
• You are responsible for the financial organisation of the project within our systems;
• You make reports of the financial progress of the project to various stakeholders (including project management, business units and various audits);
• Anticipating financial risks within the project
• Supporting capacity issues and reporting on them;
• Performing Risk Management

Essential Skills:

• Project cost control, analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience using SAP and Excel for cost control and resource planning.
• Experience working on the client side in engineering and construction projects is essential; any experience working in the relevant (petro)chemical industry is beneficial.
• Site-based working experience is essential.
• Fluent Dutch.
