This position is primarily responsible for quality standard adherence, quality tracking & reporting policy & procedure adherence, P6 schedule development & maintenance, and cost/resource tracking & reporting. Responsibilities * Ability to read and analyze project plans and specifications * Review contract requirements and adhere to QA/QC programs and project quality standards * Daily tracking of construction activities and reporting to ensure quality standards are enforced and maintained * Ability to develop, update, and maintain Level II, III and IV schedules in Primavera * Develop and maintain critical path studies, 3-week look ahead schedules and resource loaded schedules * Develop and maintain As-Built drawings and document all changes including saving and preserving all related correspondence related to changes * Ability to create cost and resource analysis curves with strong cost reporting skills and techniques * Ability to create reports, graphs and analytical data to support the quality program including daily, weekly and monthly quality reporting * Review cost and operations reports to assist Project Manager in job costing * Facilitate discussions with project management regarding quality issues and schedule forecasts * Understand, identify, and report on project trends and their relationship to the quality program and project schedule * Create procurement tracking spreadsheets with quantity curves * Create material receipt spreadsheets for both on-site and off-site laydown areas to ensure quality compliance * Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management Qualifications * Valid Driver's License required * Four-year college degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar discipline required * A minimum of 5 years' experience in project controls * Construction industry experience required * Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, and Outlook required * PMP certificate preferred * Specialized construction management training and project management training preferred Work Environment & Conditions * Position requires working in an office and field setting, requiring 8+ hours per day of sitting, walking, and standing. Occasional lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, balancing * Ability to work additional hours and/or weekends when required * Some overnight travel to jobsites may be required * Be a motivated self-starter * Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organization skills * Effectively manage time addressing the comprehensive needs of your assigned projects * Execution-focused with the ability to take individual responsibility for delivering quality work in a deadline driven environment with a high level of precision * Ability to quickly analyze, interpret, and compare detailed information * Ability to work independently and as a team * Effective communication skills to cross departments, peers, project management, and senior management
