Title: Project Controls Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Up to 20% travel within the US + Canada & Mexico)

Must have experience with: Conveyors, EPlan or AutoCAD, GM or Automotive

Position Overview

The Project Controls Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and cost control of projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget while utilizing advanced engineering software and methodologies. This person will also need PLC programming experience as some hands on experience will also be needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software tools.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Analyze project costs and budgets, identifying any variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Utilize Eplan and GM for project design and analysis related to conveyor systems and PLC programming.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Eplan and GM software.
• Experience with conveyor systems and PLC programming is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
