Your impact
We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls Analyst in Missouri City, Texas, to support our Program Management Team. As a key member of our Houston collaborative program support team, you’ll will have the chance to work on project teams using your expertise in forecasting, change management, cost management, project budget analysis, project earn value measurement tracking, risk management, proposals, cashflow and reporting tools. You will assist with managing the overall program cost controls and reporting function by providing client management, updates, and presentations at all levels of management.

Key Responsibilities
- Background Checks Collect, enter, process, manage and communicate background checks of new site workers of all General Contractors and their subcontractors timely to enable needed workforce on time and keep clearance status of all employees up to date by coordinating with district HR department and Project Managers. (This duty may take minimum 50% of work time daily basis)
- Integrated Project Management System (Kahua) Administer and maintain the Kahua platform, ensuring seamless integration for cost tracking, change management, and project reporting. Support the use of the system alongside ERP tools for financial tracking and project controls.
- Cost Estimating and Forecasting Work closely with project teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and forecasts. Monitor budget changes and align project financials with current conditions and market trends.
- Change Management Coordination Track and coordinate initiation and implementation of project budget and contract changes. Ensure timely updates and mitigate cost and schedule impacts through collaboration with project managers.
- Payment Application Management Oversee the validation and submission of payment applications, aligning them with contractual milestones and project financial tracking.
- Schedule Updates and Reporting Collaborate with project managers to ensure regular updates and accuracy of project schedules. Report on project milestones and work progress to keep stakeholders informed.
- Project Status Presentations Lead presentations to department and directorate meetings on key project metrics, including cost, schedule, change management, and risk.
- Stakeholder Communication Serve as a key communication hub, liaising between internal teams, General Contractors, and senior management to keep everyone aligned on project objectives, challenges, and solutions.
- Team Collaboration and Support Provide coverage and support to other project controls team members as needed, contributing to a cohesive and high-performing team dynamic.

Here's what you'll need
- Proven experience in project controls, cost control, and commercial operations with a strong focus on financial analysis and project performance management
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Kahua, Oracle, SAP) and integrated project management tools
- Expertise in project cost control, scheduling, and change management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively resolve discrepancies in cost/schedule data
- Excellent communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels
- Must be willing to commute to Missouri City, Texas daily basis (full time on site, no remote work is available)
Ideally, Here’s What You’ll Also Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or other Business Management related degree
- Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development
- Strong background in risk management and earned value management (EVM) techniques
- MS Project and P6 Primavera Scheduling tool experience
- Cost estimating experience

The base salary range for this position is $73,500.00 to $101,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
