About our client

Our client is a dynamic investment group with a diverse portfolio across real estate, leisure, hospitality, concrete works, and more. Under the leadership of the founder, the group has grown into a network of 44 companies, including construction companies, real estate, golf courses, restaurants, gas stations, and even a hotel in Tenerife.

The finance team of six, is now ready to grow and professionalize further.



Your role as Project Controller

As a Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in the financial success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing pre- and post-calculations for construction projects.
  • Analyzing budgets, comparing actuals versus forecasts, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Acting as a sparring partner for project managers and leadership, turning numbers into actionable insights.
  • Helping to set up and improve reporting tools, systems, and processes.
  • Proactively shaping the role itself by bringing new ideas and building structural frameworks.
  • Bridging operational knowledge with financial insight, connecting teams across departments.


Your profile

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or real estate sector.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • A proactive mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Comfort in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Business Central is a plus.
  • A hands-on, solution-oriented approach focused on process improvement.
