We are looking for a professional Project Contract and Claim Manager to make a significant impact on key projects that cater to growing electricity demands.

  • You support and consult the project team on all contractual and commercial aspects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • You ensure that the services provided by the contractor meet the agreed service levels, standards, and commercial conditions.
  • You handle and proactively manage contract scope changes, variations, and potential issues with the technical project team and relevant stakeholders.
  • You draft and manage commercial documentation, including record-keeping, reporting, and formal communications.
  • You manage risks, claims, and disputes, engaging relevant internal stakeholders to devise strategies for resolution.
  • You provide lessons learned feedback to internal teams to prevent or anticipate future project challenges.
  • You coordinate supplier management within the project to foster a constructive environment essential for contract delivery.

Requirements

  • You hold a master's degree with a technical, commercial, or legal background, or equivalent experience.
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in project contract management for large infrastructure projects, preferably in Turnkeys or EPC.
  • You have a strong technical affinity.
  • You are structured, organized, proactive, and value teamwork.
  • You are analytical, solution-driven, a strong communicator, and persuasive in challenging existing issues.
  • You maintain a strategic focus and a broader view of project targets while adhering to deadlines.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, with good knowledge of French.
  • You have experience with Turnkey or EPC contracts.
  • You have negotiation experience or knowledge of dispute and resolution mechanisms.
  • You are proficient in MS Office suite, Aconex, SAP, and/or Ariba Sourcing.
  • You are willing to work at various project locations, especially in the Ghent and Bruges regions.
  • You possess a work permit allowing you to work in Belgium.
  • You hold a valid residence permit confirming your right to reside in Belgium.
