Summary

Job Title: Project Assistant III

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 2025-06-09 to 2025-12-31

Pay range: $25 to $28/hr


Job Description:

  • Serves as a support resource on projects and work assignments; developing basic knowledge of effective project management and general business understanding.
  • Assists in identifying, tracking, and working with others to resolve project issues while developing skills to do this independently.
  • Helps to monitor and communicate project status to project team while developing skills to do this independently.
  • Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support; provides administrative support for the design and development of project plans and timelines.
  • Assists with managing project risk; developing how to use quality tools to identify areas of risk.
  • Supports documenting and sharing team learnings with other teams; uses lessons learned from other sources to enhance the success of the project.
  • Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Manager on status of specific projects and assignments.

  • Project Resource Management - Develops resource (expense and headcount) plans using recommended project management tools and processes to manage resources effectively.
  • Project Issue and Risk Management - Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events.


Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • College or equivalent degree preferred.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Experience:

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through training or on-the-job experience.


Areas of Support/Tasks

  • Impact Validation Project – 30%
  • Review and validate all CPW impacts from 2017-2024.
  • CPW Ambassador Program TEAMS Engagement – 25%
  • Develop a CPWA engagement plan for 2025.
  • CPW Connect Site Refresh – 20%
  • Redesign the layout.
  • Update the site with refreshed content.
  • International Day of the Girl (IDG) Strategy Execution – 15%
  • Support the execution of the communications strategy and global program development.
  • Assist in IDG 2026 planning.
  • CPW Administrative Support/2026 Annual Planning – 10%
  • Perform general administrative tasks (e.g., recording meeting minutes).
  • Lead meeting scheduling for all global regions.
  • Support 2025 impact validation efforts.
