Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Act as the architectural lead during the early stages of projects and transition into a technical lead during delivery
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Facilitate alignment among project, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure teams
• Create and maintain architectural deliverables such as system context diagrams, integration architecture, and data models
• Identify risks, mitigate them proactively, and ensure compliance with standards and security practices
• Support PMs by being their technical eyes and ears, guiding requirements, design, and delivery decisions
• Work closely with vendor teams to ensure solution compliance, integration, and data sourcing
• Conduct design reviews and contribute to roadmaps, disaster recovery plans, and test strategies
  
  

Skills & Experience You Should Possess:

• Strong communicator across business, application, and technical teams
• Experience coordinating infrastructure (network, database, security) and integration efforts
• Ability to “connect the dots” and maintain a big-picture view while diving into technical details
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards and the judgment to recommend exceptions when needed
• Hands-on experience during the build and test phases of large-scale projects
• Proactive mindset with a knack for identifying and solving problems early
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with GIS, security protocols (e.g. SSO, credentialing), or regulatory compliance
• Background in packaged solution implementation and system integration
• Previous work in a multi-vendor project environment
  
  

Education & Certifications You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Relevant architecture or technical certifications are a plus (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Architect, etc.)
