Mohment is a high-end architecture and design firm known for its refined, modern approach to luxury residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a skilled Residential Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about architectural design, and committed to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that align with client needs and regulatory standards. A Texas architectural license is required. Strong creative vision, technical expertise, and the ability to oversee projects from concept to completion are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Lead the design process from initial concept through detailed design phases.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and objectives, and translate them into innovative design solutions.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess potential project constraints and opportunities.
  • Technical Expertise: Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory standards.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other professionals to integrate structural and technical systems into overall design concepts.
  • Develop and Document: Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Construction Administration: Oversee construction activities to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Accredited degree in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect (RA) in Texas
  • Minimum of four to five years of experience in architectural design and production
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Technical knowledge of Type V construction
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit, Twinmotion, and other architectural software
  • Demonstrated 3D modeling/BIM proficiency
  • Strong design and visualization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
