Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Project and Compliance Engineer is responsible for designing and testing large-scale or complex systems for measuring equipment as key components in the customer's production or treatment process. He is also responsible for supporting the creation process of new articles with regards to the compliance documentation of the components, together with the system certificates
This position is part of
Hach Integrated Systems located in
Nazareth, Belgium and will be hybrid.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Designing the overall system according to the requirements of the customer
- Investigating the correct components, connections and suppliers to source the right parts
- Preparing the piping and instrumentation diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Communication with sales, construction team and the customer throughout the project
- Checks the compliance documentation (CoC, DoC, Rohs, Reach, Scip …) when creating new articles
- Communicates with suppliers to obtain the necessary and correct documentation
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical or mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in instrument compliance is a requirement
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD
- Basic knowledge of ATEX, IECex, NEC is desirable
