The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for site commissioning, perform site acceptance test as per approved client format, prepare site report, conducting communication point to point testing with multiple electrical equipment’s on standard communication protocol. In addition, performing SCADA, DMS, ADMS application testing and demonstration.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Power System Expert in electrical Protection and Control System. Technical knowledge on multiple communication protocol such as Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP, IEC 60870-50-104 Site Teamwork progress monitoring and distribution as per customer commissioning schedule. Develop, implement, test, and troubleshoot Communication systems utilizing the experience of IP networking, UDP/TCP/IP, switching and routing, firewalls, gateways, GPRS/EDGE/3G/4G modems, etc Co-ordinate and execute SAT, provide validation support and customer training, and ensure compliance with project requirements. Conduct and supervise field installation of new or retrofit equipment and prepare instructional installation documents for clients and project teams. SCADA Software implementation and design as per customer specification. Testing and troubleshooting SCADA Software Application and Fix it. Prepare, coordinate, execute factory and site acceptance test along with commissioning of SCADA/ADMS/DMS/SPM system to the client's satisfaction, provide on-site customer training, and ensure compliance with project requirements. Strategic Planning & analysis on short term and long-term project commissioning. SCADA and PPC Commissioning Experience in Renewable Field. Renewable SCADA Solar Performance Monitoring System Knowledge. Weather Monitoring System and forecasting system for small and long-term forecasting system.
Qualifications, Expérience & Skills
Graduate in Instrument/Electronic & Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5-12 years of working experience in Renewable Solar SCADA and Oil & Gas
Job Specific Skills
- Solar Power Plant Designer, Programming and Knowledge of power plant controller and Inverter.
- Power Management System Expert to manage multiple generators load sharing, load management, synchronization with grid and generator power.
- Sound knowledge of communication protocols such as MODBUS, PROFIBUS, DEVICENET, DNP-3, IEC-60870-5-101/103/104, OPC, Kepware and IEC-61850.
- Site Engineer for meeting & coordination works with all equipment suppliers and clients.
- Knowledge of Power System Protection Scheme and Wide Area Monitoring real time system.
- Schedule, Report Preparation, and work alignment with Site Engineer Team.
- Expertise in the Automation and Electrical Protection System.
- Weather Monitoring System and forecasting system for small and long-term forecasting systems.
- Renewable SCADA Solar Performance Monitoring System Knowledge.
- RDTS (Real Time Digital Simulation) testing with close loop control system in OPAL RT or other System.
