Summary

Status: Full Time Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 Exempt: No Summary: The Service Line Project Specialist is responsible for project analysis, project planning and oversight of service line initiatives. Additionally, the position is tasked with examining and interpreting large sets of medical data in order to help organizational leaders develop strategies for healthcare delivery. Other information: A. Experience, Knowledge and Skill 1. Specialized or Technical Education Required: BA/BS degree in business or health care-related field is required. A Master’s Degree or Project Management Certification is preferred. 2. Core Competencies Required: Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills required. Strong organizational and financial backgrounds are required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required. 3. Previous Healthcare Leadership Experience Preferred: Prior management experience within a healthcare setting preferred. 4. Manual or Physical Skills Required: Must be capable of performing all skills required in day-to-day operations. 5. Researches and evaluates data from various data repositories to identify discrepancies and patterns 2. Collects, analyzes and prepares data for reports, proposals and presentations 3. Performs trend analysis to identify patterns in patient care, supply cost, usage of facilities, or other areas of interest 4. Collaborates with administration and internal teams to implement and evaluate improvements 5. Executes and leads project plans ensuring completion within the defined deadlines, scopes, and budgets 6. Establishes project goals and manages the achievement within established deadlines 7. Serves as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy 8. Communicates with senior leadership regularly on updates and alignment with service line goals 9. Measures project performance using appropriate tools/techniques, tracks completion of action items, and develops baseline metrics of success 10. Completes cost analysis, capital equipment, and new service projects for multiple service lines OTHER DUTIES 1. Attends, participates in, and facilitates meetings as requested 2. Ensures compliance with that all North Oaks Health System and North Oaks Physician Group policies and procedures, compliance programs, and federal and state regulatory guidelines. 3. Performs other duties as assigned
