The Center for Economic and Social Research (CESR) at the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is seeking a Project Administrator to join its team. The project administrator will work with a multidisciplinary, international research team in support of research on a wide range of issues related to aging, including health and psychological measures.
The project administrator will work with study investigators to manage, planning, organization and scheduling project activities to support the data collection.
Job responsibilities include:
* Managing, administrating, and documentation of complex data collection effort
* Design, code, test, debug, and maintain complex programs
* Use Stata to extract, clean, and manage data in support of the research project
* Evaluate, recommends, implements procedures for data acquisition, management and quality control
* Acquire a strong understanding of research topics and a thorough knowledge of the data and programming efforts involved
* Participate in writing of reports, research papers, articles and other documentation of project status and/or administrative activities or project results
* Coordinates project operations and serves as a key resource for project information
Qualifications:
* Ability to produce careful and detail-oriented work
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of statistical programs, Stata experience preferred
* Minimum education: Master's Degree
* Minimum Experience: 3+ years
* Major in epidemiology, statistics, quantitative social sciences, or related field required.
Salary range: The annual base salary range for this position is $81,165 - $94,290. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
This is a grant funded position.
