Summary

Job Duties * Establish the billing format for client approval, prepare billings in conformance with the terms and conditions of the contract, input invoice information into accounting system. * Extraction and analysis of project costs across various categories such as labor, materials, and overhead as well as verify accuracy with the Project Management team. * Compile backup for billing documents. * Assist the Project Management Team with accurate forecasting of estimates and monthly billing accruals based on historical data and other factors. * Assist pre-construction team in analysis of historical data to produce accurate estimates for Fee + General Contractor bids. * Assist with project audits. * Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the construction project team(s) and stakeholders. * Generate and provide COIs to all clients or other third parties as needed. * Utilize system to track and manage all customer COIs and renewal dates, ensuring timely follow-up for expiring policies. * Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Attributes * Understanding of Cost Plus and\or Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts is a must. * Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Proficiency in Excel and familiar with accounting software (Viewpoint experience a plus). * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Exercise a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information for the company. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Minimum and Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent). * 3-5 years' experience with the construction industry. * Experience working with critical deadlines.
