We are seeking an experienced Progress OpenEdge Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our business-critical application while contributing to the modernization of our technology stack.

Position Overview

As a Progress OpenEdge Developer, you will work with our Multiple product, designing and implementing projects and new client deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Progress OpenEdge ABL (Advanced Business Language)
• Design, code, test, and debug complex programs
• Optimize existing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement database design and modifications using Progress Database - Collaborate with our Product team to translate requirements into technical specifications - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards - Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation - Support the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Progress OpenEdge Development (Version 11.x or higher) - Strong proficiency in Progress ABL/4GL programming
• Experience with Progress Database administration and performance tuning - Familiarity with source control systems
• Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Experience with Progress Dynamics/WebSpeed
• Experience with WinForms
• Familiarity with Docker containerization
• Experience with private cloud platforms
• Experience building or maintaining audience and subscription management systems - Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines .
