At the heart of our manufacturing excellence, as a Precision CMM Programming Quality Specialist, your day begins by shaping accuracy and approving quality in every piece we produce.
Your Qualifications:
Possess a technical school diploma or a similar education and experience blend.
5-7 years of immersion in mechanical parts test and inspection within a production environment.
Master in quality and source inspections, skilled in GD&T.
Experienced CMM programmer with a knack for optical and mechanical tool inspections.
In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100, proficiency with AQL, sampling methods, and ensuring traceability.
Communicate compellingly across various personnel levels and external partners.
Extensive computer literacy, especially in MS Office and relevant systems.
US Citizenship is a must.
Your Responsibilities:
Craft and refine CMM programs to match customer demands for both current and nascent part launches.
Program and scrutinize parts, gages, and tooling, printing to CAD.
Diligently interpret engineering blueprints.
Engage with external and internal stakeholders to resolve challenges.
Propose solutions for machine maintenance and reporting needs.
Thoroughly inspect products with a comprehensive range of measurement tools before shipment.
Champion data through spreadsheets and reconcile final inspection documents.
Meticulously evaluate materials and production phases ensuring specification adherence.

Abide by all safety, quality, housekeeping and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to all regulatory and internal system requirements
Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication at all levels internal and external to the organization
Actively participate in team meetings, improvement initiatives/programs, etc. and respond to actions, in support of company initiatives/goals, as directed

Actively support the timely closure of initiatives and activities, through effective interaction with individuals both internal and external to the Marotta organization (as required)
Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems

Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
