We are in the process of recruiting a Programmer with expertise in SQL, Visual Basic (VB), and HTML5. The position is based in Richmond, Kentucky, United States and is within the industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals who are skilled in backend development, database management, and design controls.

Responsibilities

• Creating, modifying, and maintaining applications or systems using Visual Basic, SQL, and HTML/HTML5/CSS
• Undertaking system analysis to devise implementation strategies and suggest modifications or enhancements
• Conducting tests to ensure quality outcomes and leveraging SQL to effectively manipulate, retrieve, and store data
• Employing HTML5 and CSS to develop appealing, responsive, and user-friendly web pages
• Debugging software to identify and correct issues in coding or system functionalities
• Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of system integration
• Generating technical documentation to guide users and provide insight to fellow team members on system functionality
• Adapting to new technologies quickly and learning continuously
• Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills to debug and address technical issues
• Exhibiting outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as individually.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Programmer, with a focus on SQL, Visual Basic (VB), and HTML5.
• Demonstrable skills in Backend Development, with the ability to create robust and scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in working with Database systems, specifically SQL Server.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of CSS, with the ability to style web pages effectively.
• Experience in Design Controls, ensuring software meets specified standards and requirements.
• Expertise in HTML and HTML5, with the capacity to create engaging and interactive web pages.
• Strong familiarity with HTML - HyperText Markup Language, and its application in web development.
• Proven experience in working with SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and procedures.
• Proficiency in working with SQL Server, with the ability to manage, maintain, and optimize databases.
• Extensive experience in Visual Basic (VB), with the capability to develop powerful applications.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications, with the ability to automate tasks and procedures in Office applications.
• Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), with the ability to enhance functionality and user experience in Office applications.
• Demonstrable skills in Visual Basic Script, with the ability to write scripts for task automation and application enhancement.
