Job Description

• Develop and prepare solutions for complex business and technical problems using large-scale computer systems.
• Build and maintain web-based applications using Java and associated technologies.
• Troubleshoot and correct technical issues in health applications.
• Conduct system upgrades and implement new features ensuring secure design practices.
• Collaborate with business teams, DBAs, vendors, and technical support teams.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership when required.
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of experience in IM/IT roles.
• 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Java.
• 8+ years supporting health applications for a Canadian provincial health authority.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and security in application design.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
