Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Emerson Delta V Programmers for projects in Indiana and Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Delta V Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and be responsible for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Delta V systems. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Delta V architecture and components and the ability to provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and configure control strategies and modules using Emerson Delta V DCS systems.
Program and troubleshoot Delta V controllers, I/O subsystems, and communication interfaces.
Assist with system integration, commissioning, and testing of control systems.
Provide technical support and perform troubleshooting for control system issues.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to design and implement control system improvements.
Ensure all programming and configurations meet industry standards and project specifications.
Prepare documentation for system architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
Support system upgrades and assist in the implementation of Delta V updates and patches.
Top Skills:
Emerson Delta V programming and configuration.
In-depth knowledge of Delta V DCS architecture and components.
Experience with I/O systems, controllers, and communication interfaces.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with HMI development in Delta V systems.
Ability to work on-site and support commissioning and startup activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5 years of hands-on experience with Emerson Delta V programming and system integration.
Proven track record of working on Delta V projects within the pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, or manufacturing industries.
Strong understanding of process control and industrial automation.
Willingness to travel or relocate to Indiana or Pennsylvania during the project duration.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $33.37 - $50.30 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
