Job Overview
Engineer audio visual networks for upcoming projects as a digital signal processor (DSP) system programmer. Test point to point system functionality. Troubleshoot and load Crestron code and control system network. Respond to client demands regarding equipment needs and system operation.
Select appropriate models and quantity of switches. Plan switch connections. Update network switches, configure VLANs and protocols based on needs of the devices. Connect devices to correct ports. Ensure IP addresses function correctly. Configure and tune DSP for different applications, spaces, and types of audio equipment.
Collaborate with control programmers so that devices communicate. Obtain readings and measurements at client sites to produce the best sound quality. Conduct tests to ensure functionality.
Network certification preferred or ability to demonstrate that employee will be able to achieve network certification.
Travel to various job sites required several times a month usually within 50 miles of company.
