AAC is seeking a Programmer Analyst for their federal contracting client in Richardson, TX. This individual will hold a visible role on our client’s development team performing DBA work in their SQL Server environment. This role will require the ability to obtain a security clearance. **This is a primarily remote role requiring onsite visits on an as-needed basis.** Responsibilities: DBA work including installation, configuration, and operation of SQL Server versions post 2012, including within a Windows Clustered environment Develop Powershell scripts to assist automating various SQL tasks including backup, restore, stats collection, and index maintenance Responsible for ensuring all systems programming decisions maintain the integrity of the overall systems infrastructure Write or debug programs to maintain and control computer systems software, such as operating systems, networked systems, and database systems Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in job-related field Knowledge of basic 3rd gen programming languages 5 years of systems programming and relational database experience Strong proficiency in Powershell scripting Strong proficiency in ETL processes Strong proficiency in SQL Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: PowerShell: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
