Hours: 40 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As Programme Manager you'll be working within the Programme team, planning, execution, and oversight of a set of related projects within an organisation. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that these projects are in line with the overall business objectives, completed within the designated timeframe, and within the allocated budget. Additionally, Programme Managers are responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, resolving conflicts, and mitigating risks to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Responsible for the management of all company programs (currently MS Project & Excel format) ensuring that they run smoothly, provide maximum impact
- Continuing in developing to best meet the needs of the construction team and wider Birmingham City Councils (BCC) traffic permitting and wider governance
- Working closely with our Operations team who are responsible for the delivery of the various construction schemes including but not limited to: Road resurfacing, pavement renewals, tunnels upgrades and others, along with a range of other internal and external stakeholder's departments including roads permitting teams and sub-contractors

- Can bring demonstrable analytical skills be forward thinking and able to supervise and support. operations and people who are not direct reports and/or delivering projects at a distance, planning skills to ensure effective use of resources and budget
- Are an inspirational leader able to motivate and engage direct, and non-direct reports with planners
