Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Corporate Program Travel Manager to support a large enterprise client in the energy industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with in-house travel program experience and a strong command of travel technology and supplier partnerships. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s travel program, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and customer-focused travel operations.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of employee business travel, including air, hotel, car rental, and related services.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain corporate travel policies to ensure employee safety and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and travel-related budgetary guidelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with airlines, hotel chains, car rental providers, and travel management companies.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service-level agreements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
  • Analyze travel spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive optimization strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance to align travel budgets with broader business goals.
  • Manage travel technology platforms including SAP, Concur, and Egencia.
  • Generate and present reports on travel trends, compliance, and cost performance.
  • Create internal communications and training related to travel policies and tools.
  • Partner with Workplace Services to ensure seamless logistics support for travelers and integration with remote work or office scheduling needs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate travel management experience, preferably with in-house programs.
  • Direct experience working with hotels, airlines, and car rental providers.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Concur travel and expense systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier contracts and drive cost savings.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data reporting tools.
  • Experience implementing or improving corporate travel policies and processes.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and travel risk management practices.
