Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Program Support Assistant / Quality Assurance Monitor to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products and services. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance / Database Management
Reviews initial, bi-annual and annual assessments and ISPs, Checklists.
Reviews and processes medical records and is an advocate for client needs/rights.
Reviews/approves SIR’s/APS/CPS in accordance with Title 17 and Mandated reporting requirements.
Oversees consumer progress and tracking interventions used by direct care staff.
Run/Analyze EHR reports as assigned and according to expectations.
Manages agency wide database and enters information regularly.
Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance
Training and Direct Support
Provides trainings to consumers and direct support staff.
Ensures the safety, health, and well-being of the clients.
Provides direct care in-home and community to consumers in the absence of staffing and/or in the event of an emergency.
Conducts routine scheduled and unscheduled home visits.
Facilitates bi-weekly supervision and monthly care team meetings with staff.
Activity Coordination / Facilitation
Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and programs for residents.
Develop and implement engaging recreational therapy programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Create a calendar of events and activities that cater to the interests and abilities of the clients.
Coordinate outings and special events, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care services.
Maintain accurate records of client / staff participation and progress in activities.
Conduct thorough quality checks on all products and services
Education, Training and Experience:
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is through graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree Social Work or related field; three (3) years of varied experience providing direct care, administrative, and supervisory to disabled adults, and active CPR certification.
Previous experience in a quality assurance role is preferred
Familiarity with computerized systems and software applications
Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology is a plus
Experience with phone systems and customer service is beneficial
Strong typing skills with high accuracy
Excellent proofreading abilities to identify errors or discrepancies
Proficient in clerical tasks such as data entry and filingExceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience in event planning is a bonus
Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:
California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving; and,
A personal vehicle capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles.
Valid CPR First -Aid certificate
Clean driving record that will pass Motor Vehicle and Insurance requirements
