Job Title: MIECHV Program Supervisor (Bilingual English/Spanish) Location: Family Focus - Cicero Supervisor: Center Director Family Focus is your partner in building strong families across the Chicago Metropolitan area! The Program Supervisor will be required to work at various levels, such as; Program Administration and Compliance, Resource Development and Collaboration, and Direct Services. The Program Supervisor is responsible for all PAT/MIECHV and Early Head Start program activities and interventions conducted in center-based and community-based settings which include families’ homes and collaborating agencies. This involves group assignments, family assignments, and parent/child-focused activities. This entails the delivery, planning development, and evaluation of children’s social, emotional, cognitive, fine, and gross motor development. This also provides the assurance that the center offers a hospitable environment for families, adhere to the family support guidelines, funder contractual obligations, and maintain/develop strong community relations. The Supervisor is the designated “Program Contact” and is considered to be the principal staff person for programmatic administration of the MIECHV Subcontract and will serve as the Database Facilitator. The supervisor will manage and supervise the MIECHV program, including conducting staff supervision, contractual compliance, records management, and integration with the other service programs in the center. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assist families in initiating and strengthening the parent-child relationship both pre- and postnatal. To ensure that all participants enrolled in the program are given information as to how to file grievances and are notified that all staff are mandated reporters. Ensure that HV rates are kept above 80% for all four quarters by calculating rates monthly in Supervision with each Parent Educator (PE). Maintain statistical information system. Work with center coordinators to ensure appropriate records for the program are up-to-date and accurate. Supervise Group Coordinator, Parent Educators, and other volunteers working in the program. Act as contact for community community-coordinated intake system for referrals coming into the agency. Develop relationships with hospitals and local community agencies to ensure a smooth influx of referrals. Increase the family’s ability to problem-solve and advocate for themselves and their children, especially during the birth process. Identify needs and refer families to additional community resources, including health care and other necessities. Attend all required job-related meetings and contribute feedback as it relates to program development and implementation. Maintain daily contact with team members regarding caseload and scheduling of home visits. The ideal candidate will have the following education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in social services: Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Social Work, or related field. Between 4-5 years of experience working with families and children. Prior case management/family support experience. Home Visiting experience is mandatory. Bilingual English/Spanish Parent as Teacher curriculum experience (preferred) This position requires some travel.
