Your Job

Work independently to develop and optimize assigned automation project. Continuously improve production manufacturing technology. Troubleshoot and solve equipment/factory digitinal issues in regards to ongoing production as well as with new product introductions.

What You Will Do

• 1.Execute BU Project Costing/Quotation, resource allocation and work continuous improvement action inside plant.
• 2.Work with Global Product Manager (GPM) as business partner to understand new product and project Y to Y business launch, growth status, customer strategy, target/market price, L/T, product strategy for those product launch in the plant. Work with GPM to track the revenue and profit result every month.
• 3.Handle the customer plant visit and coordinate with GPM/GSM to present the product roadmap and promote plant capability during customer visit.
• 4.Lead/coordinate plant operation teams and BU to offer solution to optimize cost and L/T to increase business pipeline.
• Address escalation and coordinate GPM/GSM with plant corresponding departments for prompt support and respond to fulfil customer expectation, such as quality, delivery and L/T issue etc.
• 5.Coordinate Supply/Planning teams for new product strategy and capacity planning/. Review material and capacity base on customer request.
• Coordinate with planning team to review existing products capacity loading and work with GPM for capital investments and drive the capacity expansion to meet customer expectation
• 6.Support operation to review excess material and work on disposition proposal to minimize the scrap and order cancellation for charge
• 7.Coordinate the PCN/ECN in plant with GPM & GSM such as production location change, raw materials change, supplier change, 2nd source, process improvement and so on
• 8.Co-work with plant Finance to review the new investment PAR before new project launch
• Compare DMF COGS/Profit with actual data when new project handover to operation
• 9.Drive cross functional teams to identify risk, challenges, go through escalation and action plan to solve barriers and find solution during the new product development and mass production.
• Identify NPI process gap in BU and plant, seek for streamline/optimize the process and product safe launch inside Molex.
• 10.Support GPM to manage product Phase 8 (mass production) : EOL activities in plant
  
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor Degree or above,3 years working experience
• Ability to drive various departments members and organize meeting to find solution.
• Power Point, MS Word, Excel, ERP or SAP.
• Understand the plant operations activities.
• Knowledge of how to formulate the costing in both new project and mass productions.
• Ability of champion profit and return on investment in behalf of GPM to engage the plant and lead the cost reduction, capacity planning and quality improvement to achieve business plan and goals.
• Knowledge of Principle Base Management (PBM) and apply PBM through the entire business cycle and daily activities
• Interpersonal and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
