Job Title: Program Scheduler Who We Are: DLR Planning is a Women and Minority-owned CM/PM firm working in both the public and private sectors. Position Overview: We are actively seeking two qualified candidates for the role of Program Schedulers. As a Program Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules for construction projects of various types. You'll ensure adherence to best practices, monitor scheduling issues, and perform quality checks. Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-Person) Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from DLR PLANNING, LLC is required. This is an on-site, long-term job. You must be located in Southern California. NO relocation funds, and NO per diem. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage program schedules by identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of diverse types. Actively engage in monitoring and participating in project and program scheduling matters, ensuring the application of best practices and standards. Gather accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on the received information. Generate and refine conceptual "what-if" schedules for various project types, including large and complex multi-year projects. Conduct Critical Path analyses and Earned Value analysis to assess project progress and performance. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management to support informed decision-making. Minimum Requirements: Required Experience: Minimum of five (5) years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an owner or General Contractor, preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite Experience with projects using Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Superior organizational and planning skills Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff Required Education: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. OR Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.
