Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Project/Program Manager to lead and manage complex government programs, with a focus on Navy-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, supervisory, and program management experience, along with a proven ability to deliver results independently and oversee teams effectively. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the execution of complex projects and programs in support of Navy and government operations.
- Supervise and guide contractor staff, providing leadership to junior and mid-level team members.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Provide strategic input and ensure alignment with customer and mission requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project or program management roles.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing contractor performance.
- Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
- Experience managing Navy programs or projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- More than 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition or contract management processes.
