Job Title: Senior Project/Program Manager

Location: Washington, DC / San Diego, CA

Clearance Required: Secret Clearance

Position Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project/Program Manager to lead and manage complex government programs, with a focus on Navy-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, supervisory, and program management experience, along with a proven ability to deliver results independently and oversee teams effectively. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the execution of complex projects and programs in support of Navy and government operations.
• Supervise and guide contractor staff, providing leadership to junior and mid-level team members.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Provide strategic input and ensure alignment with customer and mission requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track progress.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project or program management roles.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing contractor performance.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience.
• Experience managing Navy programs or projects.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• More than 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition or contract management processes.
