About The Role

As the Program Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in maintaining and improving the quality and efficiency of our youth development programs. You will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure that our 'Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, Healthy Futures' pillars are upheld and that our programs are executed flawlessly. This leadership role is perfect for someone who is a passionate and compassionate leader, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a vision for impactful youth development.

In this position, you will drive operational excellence, foster a culture of collaboration, and promote continuous improvement. You will manage program logistics, optimize resources, ensure high-quality program delivery, and evaluate program effectiveness. Your expertise will bolster our efforts to make lasting changes in the community, while supporting our mission to empower young people through engaging sports-based youth development programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of all program activities, ensuring alignment with Safe-Hub's mission and goals
  • Develop and implement program policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Co-lead training and development sessions for staff to ensure high-quality program delivery
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to expand program reach and impact
  • Monitor program outcomes, evaluate success metrics, and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Manage program resources appropriately and effectively

Requirements

What You Bring

**Required**

  • Proven experience in program management, particularly in a nonprofit or youth development setting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate and support part- and full-time staff.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with youth, staff, and community partners
  • A deep commitment to youth empowerment, social justice, and community engagement
  • Experience in program management and resource allocation
  • Experience coaching and/or playing soccer.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule (some nights and weekends).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; administrative skills; organizational and planning skills; outstanding attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort in fast-paced environment; Ability to take initiative and proactively problem-solve.
  • Must pass all background screening (criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearance).
  • Access to reliable transportation

**Preferred**

  • Experience in program evaluation and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of youth developmental needs and challenges
  • Leadership experience in coaching, mentoring, or educational contexts
  • Experience in fast-paced settings that require sound critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with program management software or databases a plus.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with positive youth development methodologies and strategies to operationalize social emotional learning (SEL)
  • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.
