Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and drive product maintenance programs from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of program goals and deliverables in line with agreed timelines, scope, quality standards, and budget constraints.
The Program Manager will plan, control, and guide programs and subprojects across all phases, making strategic decisions to manage trade-offs, risks, and issues. They will play a key role in driving technical and operational excellence, ensuring adherence to milestones and checklists, and taking corrective actions as needed to address deviations.
Additionally, the Program Manager will represent the program at internal and external forums, communicate progress and challenges effectively, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposals and solutions. A critical aspect of the role involves proactive risk assessment and management, along with developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
The candidate will also contribute to ongoing program management improvements, applying advanced business understanding to optimize operational effectiveness and ensure the program's overall success.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead and manage end-to-end maintenance programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, quality standards, and budget.
- Oversee resources, cost, change requests, testing, and service package delivery, meeting key milestones with minimal delays or escalations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize fault correction, refine backlog items, and drive timely and structured maintenance releases.
- Improve resolution cycles and reduce maintenance backlog aging through proactive backlog management and process enhancements.
- Facilitate milestone reviews and decision-making, ensuring risk readiness and adherence to program plans through actionable risk management.
- Monitor and report status on urgent fault resolutions, implementing mitigation strategies to manage risks proactively.
- Maintain and evolve maintenance policies to support audit readiness and compliance across the program lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, delivering clear updates, decisions, and high-quality materials that ensure transparency and alignment.
Key Skills And Experience
You have :
- 5–8 years of experience in project or program management, ideally in a technology-driven environment such as R&D or product development.
- Strong expertise in release management, risk mitigation, stakeholder collaboration, and software development lifecycle understanding.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multicultural teams with excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with R&D processes and program management best practices.
- Skilled in handling escalations and producing high-quality management reporting.
- Demonstrated a “can-do” attitude with a proactive and structured approach to complex issues.
- Capable of combining analytical and creative thinking in a systematic problem-solving approach.
- Fast learner with sound decision-making skills and a collaborative mindset.
