Overview
Contractor Logistic Support Program Manager to provide professional services in support of contract management, maintenance, and operations. This position will interact with other contractors, government personnel, and vendors to coordinate and accomplish requirements as well as be responsible for all contractor team activities to include performance, financial management, schedule compliance, personnel management, training, and security. The professional hired for this position will support customer operations primarily OCONUS. In addition, the Program Manager will lead, monitor, and supervise a group of employees to achieve goals that contribute to accomplishment of the mission and the success of the organization. This individual will also oversee the activities of the teams, foster communication, encourage bonding of team members, and demonstrate flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing and monitoring program level projects in support of V2X operations.
- Develops and implements various program/project plans/documents, specifications, basis of estimates/proposals, proofs of concept, and requirements
- Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives.
- Manage costs, schedules, quality, and risks to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Provide financial reports, collect and analyze project metrics, prepare and participate in informal and formal reviews.
- Directs/conducts studies involving multi-disciplinary solutions modifications, operation and maintenance, and construction; conducting engineering studies related to developing specialized facilities with unique standards; validating instructions for facility operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations within the program and across the task order teams.
- Develop and employ a team-based management strategy that leverages resources to achieve maximum effect.
- Establish schedules and monitor progress in order to fulfill requirements early or on time; identify and resolve schedule impediments; keep team and supervisors informed of schedule progress.
- Create, distribute, and present reports to update the client and the company on notable individual and the team’s progress. Examples include Weekly Activity Reports (WARs), Monthly Activity Reports (MARs), and Quarterly Program Management Review (QPMR).
- Review and approve the team/project’s hiring activities to include creating job descriptions, interviewing applicants, and scheduling security and indoctrination events.
- Assign tasks to team members.
- Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations.
- Coordinate support to operations throughout the business.
- Interview, hire, train, and mentor the operations management team.
- Provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team.
- Monitor team-level financial information and provide input to higher-level reports required for client or company purposes.
- Coordinate contract activities/assignment of work with subcontract partners.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers and subcontractor partners.
- Perform annual employee performance reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field; One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education.
- Experience:
- 4 Years of experience in program/project management and task supervision.
- Experience leading teams (50+ people)
- MRO Experience and/or understanding of Miliary Organizational Structure and general logistics processes

- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Understanding of DoD sustainment procedures and policies; ability to analyze organizational and operational problems including resolution analysis
- Strong leadership skills, including leading multidisciplinary teams; strong multi-tasking skills are also necessary for this support.
