Summary

You CAN make a difference! Progressive Residential Services is looking for YOU to join our TEAM of caring individuals to work with Developmentally Disabled, Mentally Ill or Geriatric Adults, in our supportive living settings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include but not limited too): Hires and supervises Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals Conducts performance evaluations and develops performance improvement strategies as needed. Responsible for submitting timesheets and Payroll Change Notices in a timely manner. Verifies that client records, program data, home and financial records are updated regularly and meet State requirements. Serve as the primary contact person in all areas of home and client's needs for agency staff, parents and guardians, school and workshop staff, case workers and consultants. Verify that the home is maintained compliance utilizing guidelines, directions procedures and policies of the local funding source, state licensing, CARF and the agency. Schedule and assign staff as necessary to the operation of the home. Perform duties of direct care staff as necessary. Observe and maintain client rights adhering to Recipient Rights guidelines. Follow agency budget procedures keeping costs within prescribed guidelines. Supervise group home personnel, their training and performance; recommend their hiring, discipline, termination and salary levels. Develop, implement and supervise client home programming. Consult with contracting agency staff and service providers in assessing client needs, i.e. medical, home programs, and arrange needed services. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Area Coordinator, Chief Executive Officer or his/her designee. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift minimum 25 lbs Must have the ability to be on call 24 hours/7 days Standing, sitting, stooping, bending Requires Driving QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, Bachelors in related field preferred Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Services with population serviced and 2 years Supervisory experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Report writing, Internet etc. Valid Drivers License and Acceptable Driving Record Successful completion of the post-offer process including criminal history check and professional references We look forward to meeting you!
