Prader-Willi Homes has been supporting individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), providing residential services and support for almost 40 years. PWS is a complex genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism, cognitive function and behavior. As an Assistant Program Manager, you will:
Assist as directed in the supervision of staff to ensure they follow resident specific protocols, including medication administration, meal preparation/feeding where necessary, and personal care needs and that protocol are implemented timely.
Make sure all appropriate documentation for health and hygiene activities is accurate and completed as per policy.
May assist as directed in the development and implementation of the daily/monthly activity schedule and the community outing schedule.
Provide direction to and is a role model for all staff.
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility regarding Company and resident funds.
Perform functions of Direct Care Staff role routinely and as necessary ensuring the personal care and nutritional needs of the residents are met.
Communicate essential information to staff and external contacts as assigned: demonstrating clear and effective verbal and written communication skills and adherence to established parameters for confidentiality.
Maintain awareness of all residents and is responsible for ensuring their health, safety and welfare; observes and reinforces all safety rules and regulations, including the use of safety and assistive equipment.
Contribute to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the site, grounds and vehicles, and ensures the same from Direct Care Staff on the team.
Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families/guardians of residents to promote meeting the social, daily living, recreational, leisure time, skill development, and personal care and hygiene needs of the residents.

Qualifications:
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent; some college preferred
Must be 18 or older
Must have a valid Wisconsin’s driver’s license
Must be willing to work any shift to fit the needs of the business
Work experience that demonstrates reliability and willingness to learn
