Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Program Manager, Nursing and Health Professions, oversees aspects confronting students interested in pursuing one of the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) programs in the School of Nursing and Health Professions. They will utilize a case management approach to support AAS students throughout their academic journey within the school, promote student success, and support the mission and values of the College. The program manager will collaborate and communicate with faculty, staff, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure students receive comprehensive support to achieve their educational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Provide individualized guidance and support utilizing a case management approach, address academic, personal, and administrative needs of AAS students in the School of Nursing and Health Professions
* Monitor student progress and intervene as necessary to facilitate timely completion of program entry, progression and completion, requirements
* Mentors students, tracks progress, and connects students to support services as needed to ensure students are entering and progressing within their respective programs, attaining program completion and certification
* Collaborates with Enrollment Management on admission and enrollment activities for the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
* Supports the development of strategic offerings/initiatives, related policies and procedures, recruitment strategies and program promotion in collaboration with college and community stakeholders
* Compile and analyze data related to student outcomes, program enrollment, and retention rates for the School of Nursing and Health Professions
* Prepare reports for institutional stakeholders and use data insights to inform decision-making and improve program recruiting effectiveness, increase retention and overall success of AAS students within the School
* Develops and maintains effective communication with prospective applicants, students, graduates, faculty, program alumni and community
* Coordinates with Associate Deans, Program Directors, counseling, and other offices to facilitate conversations around course substitutions, waivers, and other enrollment matters to support students
* In conjunction with Integrated Communications, develops and maintains website and resources for students interested in the programs leading to the Associate of Applied Science degree within the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
* Collaborates with Access, Learning & Success (AL&S), Enrollment Management, Tutoring Services, Learning Commons, Integrated Communications, Faculty Development and Online Learning & Academic Technology (OLAT) to provide services in support of student learning and engagement
* Works collaboratively to establish the vision and goals for the student support in the School of Nursing and Health Professions
* Collaborates with faculty and deans collegewide to ensure effective course offerings and schedule
* Oversees program effectiveness and student satisfaction using an assessment plan and assists with program review
* Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Significant related experience may substitute for education
* Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in higher education and/or academic program management.

* Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
* Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
Special Note: Target Starting Salary Range: $60,000 to $65,000
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred job requirement(s).
