PROGRAM Manager – Jr-Mid level – manufacturing oppty

GNR has actively been seeking a Jr.-Mid level PROGRAM MANAGER for a reputable small $12m division, which manufactures precision machined parts & assemblies for the aerospace/defense industry. Located south of Los Angeles. You’ll be joining a stable organization who’s invested in capital equipment for advanced machining capabilities … they are well-positioned for growth.
We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and can lead multiple programs – it’s an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational background in project or program management to gain hands-on experience and grow within the aerospace industry.
You’ll work across all functions & levels throughout the company and play a “significant” customer facing role – reporting to the VP/GM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Aerospace/Aviation customers regarding their orders. While communicating with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of programs - both existing and new.
- Track and report all program activities; you’ll be involved with the capture, execution, and delivery of programs at various phases. Collaborate with ALL functions; Operations, Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Suppliers/Vendors …etc
- Set up & manage new customer account information while maintaining existing customers. Proactively address and resolve customer issues, complaints, and concerns.
- Able to recognize challenges in meeting target dates and help resolve the issues.
- Familiar with contract requirements to ensure product compliance.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 2-12 years of experience in a manufacturing / product based environment. Strong technical aptitude. IDEALLY any metal fabrication or machining experience is an added BONUS.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, organized, and adaptable.
- Any direct project engineering or program management, familiarity with project/program tracking OR production planning tools.
- ANY Manufacturing experience can apply; aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, machinery/industrial equipment ..etc ISO9001 / AS9100
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, collaborative style of engagement, likeable with the ability to influence change.
- US Citizenship / US Permanent Resident (required)
You must reside in the Los Angeles area & commutable.

Direct-hire / full-time position + benefits
Base salary + Bonus 10%
