Job Description:

IRIS Americas is seeking a skilled Program Manager to join our dynamic IRIS Firm Management Product Development team.

As a Program Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of one of more large, complex programs from concept to launch. A program will encompass a software product release or series of releases typically involving 20-50 team members from areas that span solution management, product management, software engineering, architecture, quality management, service, sales and marketing. As a Program Manager you will be a strong generalist, capable of responding to a variety of different program types and can work well with individuals from a variety of different functional disciplines. You will need to be effective across all levels of the organization from individual contributor to senior executive.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate planning of IRIS Firm Management Product releases, balancing scope, resources, risks and timelines.
  • Create and execute detailed plans and schedules for the overall program, incorporating many complex, interrelated projects involving multiple contributing teams. Ensure all of the projects come together and released & launched on-time meeting customer requirements and expectations.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to find the best solutions, assess impact of decisions on each of the functional areas and propose resolutions.
  • Implement mechanisms to monitor progress, escalate issues, provide transparency and manage risks.
  • Communicate progress of the program across the organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive.
  • Motivate team members to ensure the prompt delivery of accurate information and issues for resolution.
  • Continually drive enhancements to the product development process and tools to improve efficiency, remove roadblocks, increase quality of output and adapting it to scale for growth.
  • Work with development leaders to establish and uphold product development processes and standards.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ year of enterprise software experience in a relevant product development role.
  • Been a significant part of at least one full product lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with agile project management processes and tools.
  • Can see the big picture, but understands detailed tracking and follow through.
  • Excellent leadership, influence and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled in facilitation, team building and meet mechanics.
  • Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies.
  • Pragmatic and creative in solving problems, specifically identifying real needs (not just those stated) and meeting those needs.
  • Highly self-motivated and assertive.
