Are you an experienced Programme Manager with a background in construction and a strong grasp of full project life cycles?
This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact projects in a secure and prestigious environment.
A leading organisation is seeking a dynamic Programme Manager to oversee multiple construction projects across the MOD Built Estate in the Southeast. The role involves managing project delivery from £100k to £5 million in value, with responsibility for a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Junior PMs.
The Role:
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects concurrently
- Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring objectives, budgets and timelines are met
- Lead and support a multi-level project management team
- Maintain programme performance in line with internal KPIs and client expectations
- Drive collaboration across stakeholders, subcontractors, designers, and MOD personnel
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety and security protocols
- Maintain a robust understanding of RIBA phases and project sequencing
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Active Security Clearance or recently lapsed Clearance (within 6 months)
- Sole UK national, willing to undergo additional security clearance
- Significant senior project or programme management experience within construction, civils, mechanical, or electrical disciplines
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across varied stakeholder groups
- Holds a CSCS card, SMSTS qualification, and IOSH/NEBOSH certification
- Excellent organisational skills and commercial awareness
- Confident managing a supply chain and navigating regulated project environments
- Thorough understanding of RIBA phases and structured project delivery frameworks
- A team player with a “can-do” approach who is comfortable leading and supporting multiple concurrent programmes
