Position Summary:
The Program Manager – Global Tooling is responsible for the end-to-end management of all injection mold programs built through global suppliers. This role ensures that project scope, quality, timing, and cost objectives are met by coordinating between internal departments and overseas tooling partners. The position requires technical knowledge of mold design and manufacturing processes, strong organizational skills, and fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively manage communication with China-based suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
· University degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline preferred.
· Hands-on experience with mold processing and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with automotive tooling programs (particularly complex or surface-critical parts).
· Working knowledge of GD&T and DFM principles.
· Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
· Exposure to simulation tools such as mold flow, cooling, and warp analysis software.
