Join Our Team

You will be our Program Manager for Claims Transformation program. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the group-wide claims transformation program. An external consulting group has performed initial discovery and developed a framework for transformation. This role will involve coordinating with internal stakeholders, claims team members and leaders, and suppliers to deliver strategic projects. This is not a technology role, although experience in delivering large scale claims technology deliverables is to this role.


The goal is to build a best-in-class claims functions, thereby enhancing technical, operational, administrative, and regulatory processes, guiding existing team members to deliver on smaller scale projects and deliverables, engaging in problem solving across multiple claims disciplines to present a project plan that is both strategic and tactical in scope.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with internal stakeholders, over whom claims has no authority, who impact claims processes to develop mutually beneficial workflows that assist with delivery of improved outcomes. The ability to relationship build and influence process will be a key function of this role.
  • Develop, oversight, manage and deliver on claims improvement or new capability projects from inception to completion
  • Help claims leaders develop a project workflow plan to address new capabilities and coordinate solutions to improve processes and workflows
  • Demonstrate a comfort level with working closely with diverse cultures and viewpoints to solve problems and deliver projects
  • Help develop budgets to complete projects: this includes external and internal suppliers time and expense
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Identify risks and provide strategic risk mitigation strategies as part of the project plan
  • Lead project participants or SMEs to help contribute, design and deliver projects
  • Once a project is delivered, assist with monitoring and adjustment of outcomes, where needed.
  • Must have strong communication skills (in English) in order to articulate complex subjects and be able to deliver a project plan to executive level stakeholders
  • Deliverables may involve reinsurance, direct insurance and claims oversight functions so an understanding of terminology, and basic claim handling end to end process will be helpful

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • Experience: 10-15 years in claims and change management programs
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required in a discipline that support business finance or administration, insurance, change management or commercial work with further certifications regarding project or program management preferred, but not required
  • Self-starter with ability to lead constituents, who have competing priorities for their time and expertise, to deliver a critical project deliverable
  • Nimble thinker to match changes in business appetite, budgets or leadership
  • English written and spoken proficiency is required


SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $165,000 to $175,000. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
