Title: Program Manager - Defense Manufacturing

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay: $125k - $135k

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor program platforms to achieve the best functional, technical, and profitable value
• Act as the intermediary between fabrication partners and the leadership team
• Track and report program metrics, plans, goals, logistics, timelines, risks, and milestones
• Report daily to the Director of Programs about risks and potential interruptions affecting budget, delivery, or quality
• Recommend resources and scheduling requirements for timely implementation
• Detect, report, and resolve program issues promptly
• Manage technical data and documentation for the program
• Provide direction to the Project Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combinations of education and experience
• Five (5) years of program management experience in a manufacturing/production setting
• PMP Certification
• Heavy plate fabrication experience, including welding preferred
• Proven leadership skills in past positions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Projects
• Capable of managing departmental budgets
