PRIMARY PURPOSE
This position provides comprehensive program management and development support for the Center for Community Engagement (CCE). Primary responsibilities include:
* Planning, coordination, and project management of virtual and in-person professional continuing education programming including certificate programs, workshops, trainings and consultations and grant-funded activities.
* Program evaluation and reporting.
* Program development.
* Monitoring and responding to, or delegating, departmental email and phone correspondence.
* Special projects related to office operations, programmatic reporting, and professional continuing education program initiatives.
The program manager will work with significant independence as well as collaboratively with the CCE team and other Lewis & Clark staff, faculty, and community partners.
The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is a dynamic, high-volume, service-oriented department at the graduate school. The mission of the CCE is to enhance the effectiveness of education and mental health professionals as agents of change by providing equity-driven professional development. Our year-round offerings prepare practitioners to meet the educational and mental health needs of all communities, and to advocate for equity and social justice within their fields of practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Project Management of Professional Continuing Education Programming
* Initiate, coordinate, and manage logistics and operational needs for virtual and in person professional continuing education programming and ensure program needs are met within established budgets.
* Host workshops (occasional weekend availability required), online or on-site/in person, providing instructor and participant support (may include virtual breakout room set-up and moderation, ASL or CART interpreter support).
* Create and maintain database and registration records, ensuring data integrity.
* Create and maintain project management records for departmental programming.
Program Development
* Collaborate with the CCE director, program directors, community partners, and faculty in the development of program activities, providing recommendations informed by direct observation and interactions during programming (as host) and evaluation data.
* Conduct research and participate in planning meetings.
* Create project plans, timelines and calendars, and coordinate with project team to meet deadlines and complete deliverables.
Program Evaluation and Reporting
* Support, collaborate in, and in some instances lead CCE program evaluation activities including survey development, data analysis, and summarizing data for internal and external reporting and to inform recruiting and marketing strategies.
Administrative Program Management
* Serve as a primary contact for incoming email and phone communication for CCE programs.
* Coordinate program activities, including training and consultation intake, contracts, and invoices.
* In collaboration with the CCE operations manager, develop and maintain procedural documentation, electronic files and a welcoming and well-organized office environment.
Other Duties as Assigned
* Special projects related to office operations and professional continuing education initiatives.

* Available to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
* Ability to carry out responsibilities in alignment with the social justice mission of the graduate school.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience.
* 5 years of experience with project management.
* 5 years of experience working in office administration with moderate to significant independence in a high-volume environment.
* 5 years of experience working in event coordination/management.
* 5 years of experience working in a service-oriented environment.
* Experience working with financial data, accounting, or bookkeeping.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with setting up and hosting Zoom meetings, including those with a large (60-100+) participant count.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Experience with reporting and record creation in cloud-based database systems.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* 7 or more years of program or project management experience in a social service and/or K-12 or higher education setting.
* 2 or more years experience with cloud-based database systems.
* Experience with Salesforce, Form Assembly, Qualtrics and Asana.
* Advanced to expert proficiency with Zoom including set up and facilitation of ASL or CART interpreters and all host functions.

PAY RATE
* FLSA Status: Exempt
* Salary: starting at $68,000
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* General office environment including in person and virtual professional education events with interaction with the public
* Prolonged periods of sitting (or standing) at a desk and working on a computer
* Must be able to communicate effectively via phone, email, online meetings, and in person
* Occasional light lifting up to 15 pounds (e.g., event materials, files)
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet program needs
