Summary

Role : Payment Engagement Manager

  • Delivery leads/Program managed large payment transformation program (Preferably around any COTS payment engine like Dovetail, PEP+, FIS OPD, Finastra GPP, Volante Volpay etc.) or large cash management or treasury transformation program.
  • Must be aware of domain topics around high value (SWIFT, RTGS) and Low value/RTP payment processing transformation program and/or large Cash Management, Liquidity management, Fraud management, Treasury topic
  • Manages the technical/IT portion of the implementation program overall from a Capgemini standpoint and works in conjunction with the client Delivery leads/Project Managers and Technical Teams
  • Responsible for delivery of the technical portion of the program; quality of the delivery approach and ensures teams are aligned on methodology. Ensures E2E alignment across the work streams
  • Coordinates and communicates with the offshore engagement lead and team for completion of work
  • Oversees and manages the day-to-day activities of the Capgemini technical team members
  • Provides technical direction, vision, insight and decisions on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible for development and refinement of the implementation plan for alignment to overall program roadmap and technical decisions
  • Develops and assesses release strategy alternatives, quick wins, and considerations. Documents risks and benefits.
  • For complex multi stream decisions monitors alignment/implications to guiding principles and benefit realization
  • Works side-by-side with the IT Delivery Leads, Architecture and Technical Teams to ensure delivery of the overall technical solution with focus on the payments implementation
  • Provides IT solutions and services such as data conversion, reporting and integration strategies
  • Provides advice to the client leadership team around payments implementation and business transformation leading practices
  • Provides advice to the IT Delivery Leads, Architecture, and technical teams about best practices in software delivery using the Capgemini methodology. Mentors the team on industry best practices for successful payment implementation.
  • Responsible for weekly status reports, governance report content and KPIs/metrics
  • Provides implementation insight from a Payment viewpoint, including estimates, plan, tasks, deliverables, and key milestones
  • Reviews and validates Capgemini artifacts, documents, and templates and works with teams to oversee Capgemini deliverables and sign offs
  • Monitors conformance to "out of the box" and highlights potential issues/risks
  • Other key responsibilities include:
  • Relationship Building: Foster trust and rapport with key client stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Onboarding and Implementation: Guide clients through seamless onboarding, develop personalized implementation plans, and ensure successful product adoption.
  • Customer Advocacy: Proactively address client concerns, gather feedback, and advocate for their needs within the company.
  • Value Demonstration: Showcase product value through data-driven insights, demonstrating ROI and business impact.
  • Retention and Growth: Drive customer retention, secure renewals, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Data Analysis: Leverage analytics to track product usage, identify trends, and optimize customer engagement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a unified and exceptional customer experience.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, ensuring alignment and addressing any issues promptly."

Salary Transparency Disclaimer

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $160000 to $170000/yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
