About the role

The Department requires a Program lead to deliver upcoming and inflight ICT Projects and initiatives within the Infrastructure Technology & Cloud Services Branch. The role will be responsible for delivering several high priority ICT projects into a modern Azure Hosting Platform environment.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing the successful delivery of technology related projects, with high-risk outcomes under tight timeframes
• Proven experience in assigning and delegating responsibilities, monitoring project status, identifying and addressing risks and setting and adhering to project scopes, budgets and timelines
• Proven experience in managing large corporate ICT transformation programs
• Communicate project updates, manage stakeholder expectations and prepare and present project reports when required
• Present information and communicate expectations in an environment with competing requirements and workloads

Highly desirable

• Experience in production of technical requirements to meet business needs for large scale federal government IT projects.
• Experience in leadership of multiple project teams involving guidance, conflict resolution and evaluating team performance for successful project delivery.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and control project finances and communication of financial status to stakeholders involving senior government executive.

Desirable

• Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud, Terraform Infrastructure Automation or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps services for Project planning and tracking.
