Aware is a global leader in biometrics software products, solutions, and services. We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Program Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical, customer-facing programs across the globe.
The Program Manager is a strategic, client-facing leader responsible for the successful planning, execution, and ongoing operations of complex software deployments. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, own program-level deliverable KPIs , and serve as the primary liaison between Aware and its clients for project delivery—ensuring delivery meets contractual terms, exceeds expectations, and drives measurable outcomes.
Essential Job Functions
- Own end-to-end delivery of client programs—managing scope, timeline, and budget in alignment with contract terms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients through deployment process, building trusted relationships through transparency, accountability, and partnership.
- Lead internal and subcontractor teams, driving cross-functional coordination and delivery excellence. These teams include engineering, customer success, product and sales team members.
- Translate client needs into actionable plans; negotiate win-win outcomes to manage expectations and resolve issues.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through continuous engagement and communication with both the customer and Aware Customer Success Manager
- Drive internal reporting, including financial performance, resource planning, and program health.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Product and Engineering on contracts, and change management.
- Lead risk mitigation and issue escalation strategies to ensure timely resolution.
- Guide agile development teams through requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline required.
- Regular travel should be expected with this position (up to 50%).
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in software, SaaS, or identity-related fields.
- Proven success managing complex, customer-facing technology programs, ideally with global or government clients.
- Familiarity with biometrics, identity management, digital security, or large-scale IT systems is a plus.
- Success being the ‘quarterback’ of internal teams deploying large customer projects over 1-3 months.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, and program KPI tracking.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
